** Description changed: System: Hardy Heron on a AMD Athlon X2 4000+ with AMD 790FX SB600 (I also tried this with Intrepid). If I plug in a usb-Disk or stick, it appears randomly every other hour that i cant access the usb device anymore. If I plug it in again, it is not recognized, until I reboot. My usb-mouse is still working all the time. When i switch off the cool n quiet feature, it seems so far that the problem is not occurring anymore. + Edit: + Also, setting usb to highspeed (instead of fullspeed) in the BIOS, causes similar problems. Might be a different problem though. (Only tested on Hardy Heron) (Mainboard: ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe) (Bios Version: 1301). So disabling cool n quiet _and_ setting usb to fullspeed works well here. + regards
