On restart, I selected one file (an ods) for recovery that was not involved in the crash.
While recovering, the Navigator window opened over the recover window and flashed on and off several times. when I click Finish the video corruption happens in two windows (the file selection for recovery seems to have no effect). Again, this did not terminate and I have no choice but to force quite. Open Office is now entirely useless and I cannot access any of my work... I try opening a presentation and get the recovery window again. The recover window shows two instances of the document I had opened in two windows even though there is only one document involved. I select 'Cancel' on the recovery process - it tells me the recovery process was interrupted and asks me to save that document. I save it to a temporary location. The recovery seems to have sorted itself out on this basis and I can open the documents again. The navigator and styles windows open with them. The 'recovered' document is the same as the original so far as I can tell (apart from the _0 extension) but it flickered when opened (even though the navigator and styles windows had been closed from another doc). -- infinite loop in windows presentation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/304965 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
