Public bug reported:
This may be a duplicate of #144529 but while the symptoms may be the
same the syslog data is not.
I am running Intrepid 2.6.27-9-server on a Lenovo t61 Thinkpad.
I have an "EDUP 5 in 1 PC Card adapter" Model: MCR-5A that reads various
flavors of SD memory cards.
In it I have a Kingson Micro SD HC in an adapter to make it full sized SD
When I put the PC Card in the computer I see the following lines in
/var/messages
Dec 3 18:38:50 paul-laptop kernel: [ 2728.020754] pccard: card ejected from
slot 0
Dec 3 18:42:55 paul-laptop kernel: [ 2972.922680] pccard: PCMCIA card inserted
into slot 0

Dec 3 18:42:55 paul-laptop kernel: [ 2972.964245] ata7: PATA max PIO0 cmd

and the card is not mounted which is what I had expected to happen.
Attached is an lspci -vvv output
