I decided to wait. Evolution 2.24.2 came out for me today and I upgraded everywhere.
Anecdotally I think I can say that the delay between typing Ctrl-A and the messages in the folder being highlighted is less than it was, but there is still a noticeable delay. The delay though is fairly clearly dependent on the number of messages in the folder. It remains the case that if you type Ctrl-A, Ctrl-D, Ctrl-E a lot as I do, it is incredibly easy to hit the Ctrl-D before the Ctrl-A has caused all the items in the folder to be highlighted, which then leads to the Ctrl-D and Ctrl-E being lost. It seems that there is (actually always has been) a loss of typed input when an action is being undertaken. -- Ctrl-A very slow in Intrepid compared to Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303094 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
