As pointed out by Adam, slapd is looking for libraries in
/usr/local/lib/. Your compilation and installation of openldap from
source put libraries and binaries in /usr/local/ which takes precedence
over system installed ones. Try to remove the locally compiled version
of openldap and update the library cache. It should fix your system
installed package.
