The new nm-applet crashes with the following output:
$ nm-applet

The version for network-manager-gnome is 0.7~~svn20091020t000444-0ubuntu1.8.10.1
the version for network-manager is 0.7~~svn20081018t05859-0ubuntu1.8.10.1
I guess I got the package from the Ibex proposed repository a few days
ago(been internet-less ever since)
