"The "EQ overflowing" error message is a generic error that occurs after the Xserver has hung for any old reason. So it is most likely that each reporter here is seeing an xserver hang for a *different* reason, but since this esoteric error message is printed in each case, it is confusing and hard to tell the lockups apart.
