Right now, I actually happen to be trying out 2.6.2.28 from jaunty, so I got this version signature:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/version_signature cat: /proc/version_signature: No such file or directory [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.28-1-ub-generic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.3.3 20081122 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.3.2-2ubuntu4) ) #1 SMP Wed Nov 26 19:15:48 UTC 2008 And it still happens in that kernel, if that is enough to confirm that the bug is still there. But OK, I will try with this proposed kernel as well for a few boots and update here if the problem still occurs. -- 1 in 10 boots freeze with kernel panic if USB-disk is left connected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
