  steps to reproduce
  
  Open Firefox, login to gmail and start a chat with someone. Expand the chatt 
so that it has its own window
- Now, in the original firefox window, open www.palladiumbio.com in a new tab
+ Now, in the original firefox window, open http://www.palladiumbio.com/ in a 
new tab
  An error message appear. Clicking OK only brings up a new identical error 
message. I am unable to use firefox now, restart Firefox is the only way to get 
out of the loop.

  Window title: JavaScript program
  Error message: checkTabCreation - TypeError: 
targetProcessedWindow.targetWindow is undefined
  
  The site uses Javascript, but I do not think this bug is contained to
  sites using java.
