Thanks for you bug report.
For both xbase-clients and xutils we should leave out "from Ubuntu 5.04
('Hoary')" in the package description since this is inaccurate for Edgy,
Feisty and future releases.
The package description for xbase-clients should be:
This package smooths upgrades by ensuring that most base X client utilities are
installed.
And for xutils:
This package smooths upgrades by ensuring that most miscellaneous utilities
traditionally shipped with the sample implementation of X are installed.
