Public bug reported:

Step 1.
Insert faulty pcmcia card.
lspci reports:
pcilib: Cannot open /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:03:00.1/config
lspci: Unable to read the standard configuration space header of device 
0000:03:00.1
Step 2.
Remove faulty card,
lspci report is the same.
Step3.
Insert working pcmcia card.
lspci report is the same. Card will not work.
Step 4.
Remove 'working card'
lspci report is the same.
Step 5.
Generate log files as instructed below.
Step 6.
Attempt to include them as separate attachments. Find that I am unable to 
accomplish this task, and so concatenate them into all.log and attach this 
instead. Consider reporting this as a new bug.
Step 7.
Run ubuntu-bug -p linux. Machine hangs.  Consider reporting this as a new bug.
