I'm having the same issue with 2.6.27-9 (the call trace matches). [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux spaten 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 22:15:32 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 2.6.27-9.19-generic [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.27-9-generic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.3.2 (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu11) ) #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 22:15:32 UTC 2008 CPU: Intel Q6600 (quad core) Unlike the original reporter, I don't need to be copying large datasets around. Typical disk activity tends to create this within a few days. When this happens, I can sometimes use an ssh session if I had created one while the system was working. I can never log in with a new session, or unlock my KDE session. ** Attachment added: "Call Trace Info" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/20293049/kern_lock.txt -- linux-2.6.27 kernel locks up XFS find_get_pages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296413 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
