Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
First symptom was recently downloaded pdf files showing the orange clock
on the file icon. The pdf files open correctly in evince and adobe
reader. Right clicking on the file icon causes nautilus to produce
segfault, also evince produces segfault.
Note: Right clicking and choosing properties on a pdf file without the
orange clock icon (busy) exhibits normal behavior, property dialog box
appears.
Examples:
nautilus[8546]: segfault at 25 ip b72d7412 sp bfb895e0 error 4 in
libc-2.8.90.so[b7266000+158000]
evince[8418]: segfault at 64616f68 ip b742a412 sp bffcbc30 error 4 in
libc-2.8.90.so[b73b9000+158000]
The system is Ibex with all updates as of 08-Dec-2008:
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
