Public bug reported:

I'm using powertop with ubuntu 8.04 to discover why my inspiron 1525 has
a poor battery usage time. I was looking for answer when I found it:

powertop:

17,4% (105,3) <interrupção> : [EMAIL PROTECTED]:0000:00:02.0

lspci:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)

Looking for why this happen I found that have a bug related to DRI and
VBLANK, but I guess that it already is corrected (It is my two cents):

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/diff/?id=3b769af53e0ef6ef9b56afd679446c73a0e63ea5
http://www.lesswatts.org/projects/powertop/known.php#intelgfx

Would ubuntu team apply it like an correction in ubuntu 8.04?

Thanks

PS: Anyway... windows vista has a much better battery powersafe plan, I
guess that we need work on it.. Using powertop it's easy to detect a lot
of interruption from: ohci1394, Rescheduling interrupts and others
modules.
