** Description changed: gaim crashed when i was trying download buddy list from server. i used gadu-gadu protocol. + + system: ubuntu 6.10, + gaim version: 2.0.0beta 3.1 + + + there was the same situation with contacts in file and + i found the reason. -> File with contacts created in 'gadu-gadu' contains a header with version of 'gadu-gadu'. i was able to import list when i deleted that line.
