Public bug reported:
installed ubuntu (hardy heron) exactly as described in unetbootin sourceforge,
seem to install fine, but no usb pen drive will mount (but desktop shows the
name of the memory stick, but will not mount it).
usb drives are ok, they can operate an epson printer and a usb floppy drive.,
