Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

I have a mobile phone that supports GPRS and Bluetooth. I used to set
this up as a modem for my laptop manually via /etc/ppp configuration
files.

Network Manager now claims to support connections "using a mobile phone
or a dedicated data modem", so I thought I'd try that.

I bonded to the mobile phone using the GNOME Bluetooth applet, right
clicked on the NM icon, Edit Connections, Mobile Broadband, Add,
Forward, Australia (pre-selected), Telstra, Apply, Edit, Change APN to
telstra.internet, OK.

Now how do I connect? It doesn't appear in the drop-down list!

Assuming there was no integration with the GNOME Bluetooth applet, I
added the device to /etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf and issued
/etc/init.d/bluetooth restart, but it still didn't appear.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
