The newly installed XUbuntu 8.04 with the same steps as described in my
first post has no this problem even through I do a "dist-upgrade" or
"update-initramfs" for all the initrd.img-* files or mkinitramfs for all
the initrd.img-* files now. So, I can't reproduce this bug. I don't know
if Ubuntu has done some fixing or the problem was caused by my mistake
three weeks ago. I just want to know why this problem occured. If I
can't find the crux of the problem, I am not sure the same brolem will
not occur at me or others in the future.
