You would know by following the directions I just told you in the
previous message.

And yes in both Window and Ubuntu you can install in just about any
language you would like, just because you don't appear to be able to
read directions, like with the previous message I sent you, does not
mean that Windows and Ubuntu do not support languages other than
English.

Apparently you either did not install your system yourself or you chose
not to install French. You can add French by going to
System->Administration->Language Support (not in OpenOffice but at the
top of the screen) and checking the box to add French and then if you
want you can change the Default Language to French as well via the same
dialog box.
