I can confirm that issue on my Intrepid servers. It's very irritating for me,
because now I can't use my favourite Bash alias to upgrade machine:
alias dist-upgrade="sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude dist-upgrade"
It doesn't work for me, because now `aptitude update` command always exits
with return code 255 and `aptitude dist-upgrade` command is not invoked.
English means of "E: Błąd składniowy
/usr/share/aptitude/aptitude-defaults.pl:49:
Po wartości występują śmieci" is something like
"E: Syntax error /usr/share/aptitude/aptitude-defaults.pl:49: rubbbish after
value".
