I just tried it with 8.10 and it is working fine:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# uname -a
Linux ubuntu 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Fri Oct 24 06:42:44 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ip -V
ip utility, iproute2-ss080417

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ip route get 1.2.3.1
1.2.3.1 via 192.168.1.254 dev eth1 src 192.168.1.1
    cache mtu 1500 advmss 1460 hoplimit 64
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ip route get 1.2.3.2
1.2.3.2 via 192.168.2.254 dev eth2 src 192.168.2.1
    cache mtu 1500 advmss 1460 hoplimit 64

Just one question I can not understand ¿why was this bug marked as incomplete?
It is very easy to reproduce with an Ubuntu 6.06 live CD and it seems a
regression to a bug in Debians iproute package. It was also very easy to check
with a Ubuntu 8.10 live CD that it is now working fine.

Best Regards,
Eric Janz
