I don't dual-boot, so I stuck with the dellBiosUpdate and downgraded to A11 and had the same problem. I then downgraded back to A07 and the problem is cleared up.
One difference that I see between the A11/12 and the A07 is the A07 does not offer an option for enabling Intel's Virtualization. The problem persisted whether I had the Virtualization enabled or disabled. I'm not sure what to think, in some spare time later today, I will incrementally upgrade to see which BIOS starts to see this problem (Sometime between A07 and A11) and go for there. I'm still not sure where the problem lies (driver, BIOS, kernel?). -- Dell XPSM1530 touchpad not working properly after BIOS upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
