Short bug summary:
I have tried to install different distributives of "Ubuntu 8.10 Interpid
Ibex" (Ubuntu Studio x64, Ubuntu Desktop x64, Ubuntu Desktop i386) and
all of them do not start Xorg after I choose using nVidia appropriate
driver to turn on Compiz.
My hardware:
Motherboard: WINFAST_6100K8MA (s939)
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+
MEMORY: Dual channel 4x512 mb DDR PC 3200 (400 mhz)
VIDEO: nVidia GeForce 7300 GT (256 mb, PCI-E)
I have now Ubuntu Desktop 8.04, I use appropriate driver and I use
Compiz, everything works fine.
