Public bug reported:
When i boot Ubuntu 6.06 with the i686 kernel, whenever i insert a CD-ROM
into drive my system hangs totally and does not response to every kind
of input. It also does not produce any kind of output, it simply dies.
Booting with i386 kernel doesn't give problems.
My Machine is an HP Pavillion with Intel Pentium 4 524 (3.06 Ghz) HT and
a S-ATA HDD while CDROM is IDE. I used standard 2.6.15 kernel due to
lack of Internet connection (I'm connecting from office).
