Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Please,
update openoffice to 3.0 in default ubuntu repository.
What happened to providing a linux user the "latest and greatest" open
source has to offer. It's been two months since 3.0's release. Would I
be waiting for Office 2008 ONCE it was released to install it in a
windows OS? No.
I would install 3.0 myself if I weren't afraid of breaking some software
in doing so. Also, I don't want to deal with terminal. where's the
double click .deb so that i can replace OOo 2.4 to 3.0. OR UPDATE the
ubuntu repo.
