Confirm also this issue with Sony KDF-50E2010 and GA-G33M-S2H (connected via HDMI-HDMI).
If cable is connected to Sony TV, display is connected to HDMI-1 interface and can't get any picture to TV. Only working workaround is to connect cable first to normal LCD-monitor and when system is up-n-running then connect HDMI-1 cable to Sony TV. With this workaround display is connected via TMDS-1.
