I would suggest that the test should be more integrated, meaning we
would detect the right type of camera and device name and then have
checkbox spawn another window, just as you currently have with the
colour bars test. This window would simply show you what the webcam
sees. From there, the user can manually confirm or deny that he/she can
see themselves and any other issues they may have with the camera
(colour/tint). We should see if this is possible simply with the v4l or
v4l2 libraries without pointing to an external application (at least not
as heavy as Cheese).
