Public bug reported:
In hardy, the player doesn't mount automatically, 'mount -t auto' fails,
'mount -t vfat' works. Weird filesystem, I think?
In Intrepid (kernel 2.6.27-9-generic) the player mounts automatically,
but still has problems.
Once mounted, any attempt to access the player (read or write) generates
vast numbers of errors. Behaviour is identical on two brand new players
and they do not appear to have any issues operating in Windows XP, so
this is 'normal behaviour' for the device, not a faulty unit.

Let me know if there's any other info I can provide. I really _hate_ having to
boot into 'doze for something that ought to be supported in linux!
