Well, (booting with jaunty) I haven't got a cd of jaunty, but I can download it (only that tomorrow I could run that test).
(booting with suse) Here I do attach a copy of dmesg and alsa-info.sh booting with suse, but before anything, I must tell you that I have a great new..! (something else) Trying to do anything with this problem, I was updated the alsa-driver to the 1.0.18a version, following the steps published on http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Module-hda-intel and only I had some problems configuring the alsa-utils.. and when I rebooted, MIRACLE... the sounds WORKS!!!... Do you need that I post some alsa-info booting with ubuntu 8.10 64bits or the dmesg? ** Attachment added: "suse.info.tar.gz" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/20395794/suse.info.tar.gz -- No Sound with VIA VT1708B on Ubuntu 8.10 64 bits - Audio onboard Asus M3N78-VM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306131 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
