Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Using Kubuntu 8.10 64 bit version.

I upgraded to open office 3.0 and ever since it does not have all the
menu items when the drop down boxes are used from the tool bar.

I was trying to set use open/save openoffice.org dialog and the box is
missing on both 3.0 and 2.4 after trying to uninstall 3.0 and putting
back 2.4.

I have done some looking and found something different about the files
under windows and a web site with a note about unzipping a file to make
his openoffice work and find missing buttons. The site unzipped
images_human.zip and industrial file to have a different style.

With 2.4 on the linux box under /usr/lib/openoffice/share/config there
are a lot of files. soffice.cfg, symbol, webcast to name a few. When
looking at the same file on openoffice 3.0 there is just one zip file
"images_brand.zip" with 0 bytes. I tried to unzip, tar, and ark the
file but nothing happened.

I hope this will help with debugging process and if this has already
been reported sorry but I did not find a bug with the differences being
listed on the root folder.

If I can provide other details please let me know.

Thank you everyone who can do the programing and fix these problems.
