Sorry no backtrace ;-) I use Edgy (hence Sylpheed 2.2.7). I tried in Feisty, which has the very latest sylpheed version (cool :-), and I can' t reproduce the bug. Then I tried in Edgy again, looked at the address book again, and noticed that the address field was lacking the ".fr" bit ! It turned out that I corrected it several times in the past, but the GUI must not be super intuitive, so I think what happened is that it actually didn''t save the modification. This time, I corrected the domain name, then clicked on the "modify" button, and hey presto, it fixed the problem !
