Status in “kdebase-workspace” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
I recently tried about 6 distros and settled on Ubuntu Ultimate 2.0 1 machine
is running 64 bit the other 32 bit, in both cases i canot get nore that 2
desktops, everytime I start system settings I get, the shared liberary was not
found kcm_kwindesktop for desktop, kcm_screensaver and so on, I am not a stupid
person although I am new to linux, I did some research on the file name and I
came up with some packages on a french server with all of the distros of linux
except Ubuntu, or i would not be writing this message to you, I can live with 2
desktops but I would prefer the 4 desktops any help would be appreciated, I
seen you wanted the source Package the bug was in, I believe it was a KDE
update error

Thank you for your time in advance
