I'm currently using a 64-bit Xubuntu install that was manually dist- upgraded to Jaunty, and the bug does not exist here, though the version still says 3.0 beta 4. Originally reported on 32-bit Ubuntu install. Could it be a 32-bit problem?
Also, Jonathan Thomas says it's a bug against all apps run with kdesudo.
