Public bug reported:

If I send a folder to the trashbin I get a werid behaviour.
If the trashbin only contains folders, then the applet icon shows it's not 
empty, but the "Empty trash bin" is greyed.
If it contains also files, then I can select that action. The result is that 
files will get deleted, folders (directories) won't and the
friedly advancement dialog will stay forever. After this the "Empty trash bin" 
action will not be greyed, but the action itself won't ever terminate.
The workaround is to maually delete the folde from the trash bin ("Open in a 
new window", then "remove").
