I don't understand any of this, and my drive is at 1,348,046 load cycles
and climbing.

Is there going to be a fix released any time in the near future?

If not, is there a simple guide on how to work around it? I've used
"sudo hdparm -B 128 /dev/sda" and it seems to work, but it doesn't
"stick" and I have to keep entering the command.
