Just tried on 9.04 amd64 with libvirt 0.4.6-5ubuntu1. This problem seems to be gone. Libvirt now sends "chage ide1-cd0 ..." command to qemu. But that commad still doesn't work: - when some iso is mounted it stays so - when previous iso is ejected then after executing attach-disk this old iso is mounted istead of the one specified in the command. That's a different bug I guess...
