I have a HP EliteBook 8730w:

About 70% of the times I try to boot my computer it freezes when loading
modules. Waiting around in the bootup (forever) gives me a raised ATA
exception. I'm not quite sure why this happens but it does. It's (for
obvious reasons) quite hard to provide logs from one of these bootups,
though. The exception however looks as follows:

There are also times when the bootup process doesn't even get that far,
but for now I'm hoping it is related to this issue. Attaching some
(hopefully) helpful things.
