Hi, perhaps I can shed some new light on this mysterious bug. On second thought it seems to me, that I started Firefox by clicking a hyper-link in a text document that I had opened in open office, when the bug occured for the first time. My Firefox is still corrupted, although I had de installed and installed it again.
