After my mouse stopped working, I've also tried replugging my Wacom tablet (which was still functional). The lsusb output remained the same and the tablet remained functional. However, when I tried replugging my USB mouse (which was the first device to stop working), the mouse remained unfunctional. Also, lsusb simply hung and Ctrl-Z nor Ctrl-C did anything. At this point, I tried replugging my Wacom tablet once again, but this time it wasn't functional when it was plugged back in. It also did not seem to get any power. After getting all of the outputs, I tried to restart the computer, but it only displayed the wallpaper and nothing was functional. I had to hard-reset my computer.
I've included the dmesg output after I tried replugging my USB mouse. ** Attachment added: "post_dmesg2" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/20494601/post_dmesg2 -- USB devices fail in Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239566 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
