Public bug reported:

When I try to install a package in 8.10 from the Ubuntu CD using
Synaptic Package Manager, it fails.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Enable the check box in Software Updates relevant to the CD and save changes.
2) Insert the CD and wait until it is mounted.
3) Open terminal and type: sudo apt-get install build-essential (That's just an
example)
4) Confirm the installation

What happens:
Ubuntu keeps on complaining: Please insert the Ubuntu 8.10 Interpid Ibex CD

What should happen:
The CD should be recognised

Note: This bug is not reproducible on Live CD session.
