Bad news: x server crashed again. This is the first time since 15-11-2008.
Again, I was playing Solitaire Aisleriot. Firefox and Thunderbird were idle in
the background.
Good news: this time "low graphics mode" did function ("your screen, graphics
card, and input devices settings could not be detected"), and a troubleshooting
program too. I choose to save the configuration and errors messages. Tar file
attached.
