I am able to mount/umount a floppy, but any time I try to format it with
gfloppy I get the same error.

...when I select Formatting Mode Quick. I got an error that the disk was
mounted. This tool should auto-unmount before formatting. After
formating, the disk does not re-mount to the desktop.

...when I select Formatting Mode Standard I get the error:
Could not determine current floppy geometry.

...when I select Formatting Mode Thorough I get the error:
Could not determine current floppy geometry.

Additionally, I had to start floppy as gksudo gfloppy which means that
to access the disk I had to be root and which also means that the floppy
cannot be written to by a normal user. There needs to be a serious
revision of this tool.

The floppy drive I am using is a Toshiba PA3109U-1FDD USB floppy drive
(0644:0000 TEAC Corp. Floppy)
