hi
well, since it said no debugging symbols found, i figured, whats the point?
but well, ok, so after today's upgrade to 3.0.5, i decided to give it a go,
here's what happened:

that segfault stopped things even before any firefox windows showed.
when i ran firefox normally, without gdb, it started up fine...

so, i enabled apport, as you suggested, and when i get around to
restarting, will do so, and then hopefully will be able to report the
detailed info on the crash, if it persists after the 3.0.5 upgrade.
