Hi Scott, Please add a comment to tell why you're assigning the report to a specific package, it will avoid useless work for triagers. I known it clearly says that udev is already installed and configured and that's why the upgrade fails. The upgrade fails because it needs to process triggers but the package has already been configured. So the bug is affecting either the primary package - udev - or dpkg but clearly not an apt issue. This may have been fixed in Jaunty, but I have no way to reproduce this issue.
Thank you. ** Changed in: dpkg (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: apt => dpkg -- package udev 124-9 failed to install/upgrade: package udev is already installed and configured https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308075 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
