Binary package hint: portmap
At shutdown (for either halt or reboot), Ubuntu hangs at "Stopping
portmap daemon..."
If I comment out this line in /etc/init.d/portmap, it no longer hangs:
pmap_dump >/var/run/portmap.state
This is a regression after upgrade to Intrepid. I get it on two out of
three intrepid installations (with portmap). I haven't figured out what
configuration difference causes this.
portmap version is 6.0-6ubuntu1.
