Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

Every time I reconnect to the internet, my resolv.conf file is replaced by the
same file, which reads:
#Generated by NetworkManager

And I need to manually enter the DNS's IPs if I want to surf.

I configured correctly the DNSs in NetworkManager, but looks like it
simply ignores the configurations...

I don't have resolvconf installed (at least aptitude remove doesn't do
anything...) and I'd tried to remove write permissions to resolv.conf
even to root, but at every reboot, the file is still replaced and the
permissions roll back.

Moreover, the more I erase the wired connections (I use a 3G modem), the more
wired connections appear to me! =-O
I thought the problem could be these connections, because they were configured
to autoconnect at startup, but I changed that and the problem still remains...

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
