Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. If the whole computer crashes (not only firefox) this is likely not
firefox issue, but maybe a kernel issue or something with the x server or so.
Can you change the console if it crashes? Or restart the xserver with
ctrl-alt-delete?
