This bug has been fixed in mail-notification 5.4.dfsg.1-1ubuntu1, which is
a relatively small patch.

+ Run mail-notification 5.4.dfsg.1-1build1, then open Evolution and observe the
crash. When using mail-notification 5.4.dfsg.1-1ubuntu1, this crash does not
occur.
