My hp 2180 was working great with ibex. But now after I changed the print head
and updated ibex as of 19/12/08, it does not work. I can see the /dev/usblp0
file but as soon as I try to print (eithet with lpr/hp-print or from gimp) it
disappears and dmesg says: usblp0: removed. Nothing else.
But I can check the cartridge levels using hp-levels and the other hp progs
probe the printer successfully.
Also hp-align works: it prints the alignment pages with no problem and the
scanner part still works as usual.
