Ok, but remember that the 1st problem (title of the bug) actually didn't
exist, because it was a switch I had to activate to enable those keys.
The remaining problem is typing on boot options.

I've just told #Ubuntu-br about this bug, maybe someone there has a Live
CD and an ABNT2 keyboard to make your test.

I would be happy to do that if it were a less clear-cut bug, but as it
is it seems like a real problem that could easily affect more than just
you, which makes me sort of reluctant to close it. :-(
